Antonia Lofaso

Chef Antonia Lofaso's cuisine is an invitation to explore the depths of her personal world. It is her food that stirs curiosity. It was born after she stepped outside of her Long Island suburbs and entered the culturally rich scene that is Los Angeles. Her belief of the fact that cavatelli and carnitas could coexist seamlessly on the same menu reveals a taste that continues to evolve. With every dish she serves, she has a vision that is distinct and speaks to nostalgia for the old. Scopa Italian Roots opened its doors in 2013 and was immediately popular. The restaurant's version of traditional Italian food is among Los Angeles's most popular restaurants. Lofaso has been praised by many as a local restaurant that consistently serves dishes that are authentic, tasty and inviting. Lofaso studied under the best chefs to learn their refined methods. But she didn't hesitate making bold choices to honor her gut instincts. Within a few years, Lofaso rose to the very top at Wolfgang Puck's Spago. Then she collaborated with many famous celebrities as she transformed various Los Angeles restaurants. Lofaso launched Black Market Liquor Bar with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi in Studio City, California. With Black Market and the business alliances she created, Lofaso was able to find her place to call home. Lofaso could achieve the creativity she craved thanks to her partnership. Black Market's goal is not to limit itself by any means. The first course could be chip dill, followed by shishitos peppers. Then comes the Korean Wing, and lastly a meatball course. Antonia is the center in this assortment. Lofaso evaluates her achievements all through her career on the basis of her ability to get to know her audience well and be loyal to her character. Her memorable performances of Top Chef Chicago and Top Chef: All Stars celebrated her distinctiveness in the kitchen and her talents are still shining in front of the camera, as a panelist on CNBC's Restaurant Startup and recurring roles on The Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child and ABC's Real O'neals. Lofaso released The Busy Mother's Cookbook 100 Simple and Delicious recipes in 2012, with Penguin. The book also tells the story of how she faced challenges during her time at The French Culinary Institute. She had a daughter, Xea also. Lofaso believes that all her achievements are the result of her love of cooking. She is capable of keeping her finger in the middle of this field by staying in the kitchen. Chefletics, her new brand, is revolutionizing how chefs dress. It is a blend of style and functionality. Lofaso cares about staying true to you and your ideals. To achieve this, she's launched Antonia Lofaso Catering. The new business will give customized experience for customers.
